AJ started fish karma after traveling across the U.S. and noticing how polluted many of the country’s waterways had become. Rivers were clogged with trash, and in some places, the fish were completely gone. As someone who loved fishing and spending time outdoors, AJ was frustrated by how often these problems were overlooked. He knew something had to change—and decided to be part of the solution.

Fish Karma became a website that sold high-quality fishing gear, but with a deeper purpose. A portion of every purchase went toward cleaning up rivers, restoring fish habitats, and supporting environmental efforts to protect our water. The name came from AJ’s belief that taking care of nature brings good things back around—like karma, but for fish. Now AJ is convinced that the more you clean up the more fish you catch. What began as one kid’s passion project turned into a growing movement of people who love fishing and care about the future of the waters they Utilize to fish.
